Hands-on. Self-starter. Above and beyond.

Growing up, I was curious about how things worked — with and without human intervention. I learned to program in Visual Basic in the 90s, taught myself web development, and also spent time in creative arts (drawing).

I studied Computer Science and Information Systems at Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia), where I first learned natural language technology and the foundations of machine learning and artificial intelligence. I later completed a Master of Arts at UTS focused on communication and organisational science — this is where my passion for combining the arts and sciences really took shape.

I've worked across organisations of every size and industry, with colleagues from all over the world. I started at IBM Consulting and PwC/Strategy&, and have spent the past decade as an IT/business analyst delivering no-nonsense analysis and project work for organisations including IBM, Woolworths, Telstra, CentralNIC, NAB/MLC, Westpac, CBRE, Cochlear, and Suncorp. A good deal of that work has centred on M&A: due diligence, post-merger integration, and systems consolidation for some of Australia's largest business separations and acquisitions.

Outside of client work, I enjoy connecting people and helping them succeed — whether that's volunteering, mentoring, or just helping someone fix their bike.
